So you are getting married!  What an exciting time in your life. But, you are a nontraditional person and want your wedding day to be spectacular and very different from the usual run of the mill weddings. While in your teens, you sat there and envisioned getting married with many different versions of that day, but the one that always remained was the one on the beach and wearing “my perfect beach wedding dress.”  Now the time has come where your dreams can now come true.  Remember, if you can dream it, it can come true.  How wonderful to imagine the clear blue waters of southern Florida, your bare feet on the warm sand and the soft wind enveloping you as you hold the hands of “my perfect husband” and wearing “my perfect wedding dress.”

My perfect beach wedding dress can mean extremely different things to many people. The traditional ankle length white gown is acceptable of course and can look quite lovely with your bare feet in the sand.  To other women, my perfect beach wedding dress could consist of a bikini bathing suit, headpiece and veil. Whatever your choice, when you look back at this day you will always say “On the day I was married, I wore my perfect beach wedding dress. Your wedding day is a day you will always remember as perfect.  Remember, when planning your beach wedding day; consider different times of the day. It can be done with the spectacular sunrise denoting the beginning of your life together,  a later afternoon wedding so that you can enjoy the cool ocean breeze after a warm day and of course a fantastic sunset wedding for the end of a perfect day.

There are many things to consider when having a wedding on the beach.  For instance, will your reception be indoors or outdoors.   Will the entertainment be traditional or nontraditional, or can you again be truly different and have a luau on the beach with the Hawaiian dancers, of course including hula dancers. After making that decision then you must decide on decorations and of course your wedding cake. Here is where you can really make a statement and it will be the total theme of your wedding and you can show others that the bride is wearing my perfect beach wedding dress.  A fantastic end to a fantastic day!
